hey guys,

I run a small server on a Raspberry PI 2 (using an emulator) it works really well with the whole set-up costing me around $90 AUD and calculated power costs at $11 per year running 24/7.

I was wondering if there is a way to protect a home internet connection with DDOS protection? possible scripts?
This was after I stress tested it and it fell to the shit.

Regards

You can't do much at the modem level (or even after). Everything would already be saturated. Most of what you could do is at the DSLAM level or higher.

You could try to use vpn or If the server is just for you so u can create whitelist.
If it just a web server so use this https://www.cloudflare.com.
btw Raspberry PI 2 is just "mini" server and cant handle big stuff so I dont know why u surprise that it crash.
