Also most cracked software is bundled with malware. Occasionally you may find some illegal software that is uninfected but in my history - I have learned to greatly reduce my risk by paying for software I need and just using open source (free) software I do not absolutely need.

It is possible even just one or maybe a few files hosted there were infected
