Hello this is a very bad and probably basic question but while I have been hosting teamspeaks on windows for a year now I decided to swap to Linux. I now use ubuntu 15.10 although I've ran into some problems

All the virtual servers are up and working and I can connect to them all but for some reason no one else can connect to them. I've scanned all the ports from 9990:10500 and it seems that the only port open is 10011 and that's because teamspeak uses it.

I have no idea why I can only connect to it although people can connect the ip without any ports.

Thanks in advance!

You should not use ubuntu as a server OS it's mostly meant for Desktop-PC's. I would suggest you to use Debian since it's the most used server OS and most serversoftware and tutorials are for debian.

Ok I have done some testing and it turns out that if the user connects to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx without a port then after that the person is able to connect to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:Anyport
Is anyone knowledgeable about ports?

I swapped to Debian Wheezy and it solved the problem!
