Chat has been removed due to security vulnerabilities. If it get's fixed by the author but also stops using too many resources we will re-enable it.

In my humble opinion - Discord is killing the forums. It was same with the chat before - so much was happening in the chat that I couldn't just keep up, forums went nearly mute at some point as too many things were being addressed via chat. It wasn't healthy for the community. You could as well just run some nice ircd and keep everyone in there.

I would have to agree with @kingston Chat is pointless if there is the forum. New post, response, or conversation creates content that the spiders can crawl and get more traffic to the forums. IRC and or chat may be good for private groups inside the overall community but they could very well have their own forum section, again creating content and building the site.
