This is pretty unnecessary, isn't it? I feel like everybody on this server is just a skid feeling cool because they are able to edit a database. (I don't know these people, so no offense.. ^^). Also why does everybody on that server has Channel Commander? They obviously don't know what that function is for (rofl).
Maybe to do that with the time, it's enough to edit your server's time. Im not sure about that though.

There is also the possibility of having a MMlike Tool between client requests and server responses.
This could be used to manipulate a those requests.

They've just changed some server values with CheatEngine or something similar. So it's just cosmetic. Even if it's database and/or binary modifying, it's still useless.
