Electrum wallet without bech32 support - cannot receive Bitcoin

  1. Create a new Electrum wallet: 1574267069006.png
  2. Use a standard wallet: 1574267107991.png
  3. Create a new seed: 1574267129810.png
  4. For your seed type, select legacy: 1574267171241.png
  5. Finish generating the seed, backup your seed somewhere safe, and confirm your seed.
  6. Password protect your wallet with a good password like "What-the-schnell-h03$" or "!SellH03$_for_$$$" something easy for you to remember and others will not guess - not even the robots.
  7. Optionally you may confirm wallet information: 1574267662499.png

The script type p2pkh allows for legacy support, whereas the p2wpkh is the newer SegWit wallet which may not support some senders of BTC (Bitcoin).
