UPDATE : I did not get any PM, email or anything to show the donation had been received, or that I had been promoted to VIP status ... but I just noticed "VIP" in green on my profile so you can ignore my complaint/question. ... however, how about sending an email to the user after they are promoted in order to avoid this confusion in the future ... a suggestion!
