Is the "Option telnet to everyone" option required for this to work? It works only if I enable this.

Thats means that you could control your client on another machine on your network. You can even control it from a completely different network if your port is open on your router.

I tried to save your code to my plugins\pytson\nickRotate\ as .py file, but it won't show on settings page of pyTSon. :/
