This is not possible (practically). The TeamSpeak 3 IP database is stored server-side. Some IP addresses are missing or unaccounted for, which results in unknown IP locations. Basically if the database which holds IP range information that associates sets of IPs with countries/locations.. is not working correctly, some lucky people with an unaccounted for IP will show up as no flag. This is not done on purpose usually, it is just certain IP addresses TeamSpeak 3 does not have in a database.

Sometimes when I connect to a VPN which is physically located in germany teamspeak shows a romanian flag:

Whois Country Code:
Code:
country: ro

Location as shown by iplocation.net:
Code:
Geolocation data from IP2Location (Product: DB4 updated on 9/30/2015)
Country Region City
Germany Nordrhein-westfalen Dusseldorf

Geolocation data from IPligence (Product: Max updated on 4/22/2015)
Country Region City ISP
Romania

Geolocation data from EurekAPI (Product: Pro On-demand API)
Country Region City ISP
Germany - -

Geolocation data from DB-IP (Product: Full updated on 9/1/2015)
Country Region City
DE North Rhine-westphalia Dusseldorf

Geolocation data from ipinfo.io (On-demand API)
IP Address Country Region City Postal Code

Geolocation data from MaxMind (Product: GeoLiteCity updated on 10/7/2015)
Country Region City Postal Code Area Code

What teamspeak shows:

My guess is, that teamspeak just uses the Country Code it gets from the whois. There are some techniques to hide this and then there should be no flag. I don't know how to do this though.

This usually happens on outdated servers (3.0.10.3 - 3.0.11.1)
