You'll have to use them for both TS3 and TS5. You can't send different icons to different clients.

You said "will use them in the ts5 for sure" which makes no sense because that means you also use them in TS3. TS5 is not a new version it's just an alternative (web)client

an alternative (web)client

but a whole new client and its beta version will be available for download very soon
