Teamspeak source code is the company. TeamSpeak is nothing without the single product they have. They don't have any other product.
Just to finalize, teamspeak 5 and teamspeak 3 are the exact same product. Teamspeak 5 is just a UI rework.
Okay, sorry.
In that case i was mistaken by their "NEW Teamspeak" advertising policy but you get my point.

@WillDx no worries at all friend, we all are still figuring out what TeamSpeak 5 is. It’s a confusing thing, changing versions so drastically over a simple UI facelift. The type of stuff going on here is like renaming the United States over a new president. It’s just plain stupid!

TeamSpeak should just sell their source code and all social streams to us. We will better monetize the platform toward corporate environments while allowing gamers and all personal users to enjoy free unlimited licensing!

Team Viewer should acquire Team Speak. We could combine them to make Team Sewer.

Haha, I like your thinking style. That is a pretty cool way to run a business actually. Have drop-in voice consulting for $20.00 per hour. Then offer remote support to fix a server etc for $50.00 hourly or something like that.

The new ultimate tech support startup software bundle.

Servers will most likely use same licenses etc.
But the only thing I hope for is proper Client SDK (Maybe even server sdk?) not just exposed functions for plugin :<

People do not know if NPL licenses will stay, including dante696! This is entirely in the hands of the USA office for TeamSpeak which their official agent whom was assigned regarding TeamSpeak software licensing has just resigned somewhat recently.

It sounds to me like he probably got a headache from the shit TeamSpeak is pulling "We want all the free NPL licenses to just stop, so people pay us money."

That agent probably heard such discussion and was like "Well, F this - I am out."

Evidence?

Even more, Fred Hasani resigned as an agent from TeamSpeak Systems Inc. in California. You can see he goes back to 2014. He resigned just in December.

More and more it looks like Discord..
The problem is TeamSpeak's UI has always been outdated somewhat, similar to Mumble.

In terms of UI, I do not believe either have really had a proper UI/UX... user experience design and user interface design are both pretty damn important. Skype had this before anyone, even before them Windows Live Messenger (formerly MSN Messenger) had decent interface and experience design well. Even AIM had a decent design for the time.

I mean this is all pretty basic stuff. Make using the damn software simpler for users to figure out. If everything is not intuitive there is a greater learning curve which scares people away.

Everything in a layout has to make sense.

TeamSpeak makes sense to people that use TeamSpeak. I remember trying to recruit people from games to use TeamSpeak and half the battle was getting someone connected into a server. This is why simple copy/paste links to join servers is a thing. Some people do not want to install software in fear of getting infected with a virus or maybe they do not have administrator access to install the codecs or frameworks to run software etc. Web clients are a thing!

Long story short, TeamSpeak has been lagging behind for a decent amount of time now. They are playing catch up and the sad part is I am not even expecting a web client still. If I understand what they are doing properly, they are simply giving the current TeamSpeak 3 client a new design/style.

This 4th element is certainly a fragment of the chat. Will the main UI disappear with the channels and spacers as it is now? More and more it looks like Discord..
of course it will look like discord because it is a discord clone, not a good one tho
