The bot suddenly shut down today and showed this error in the logs:
Is it now required in the new version?
PS: Looking forward to a version where you upgrade the interface design ^^

You have to install the PDO MYSQL extension to your PHP, ask your provider to install it for you!

Please download the original sources and overwrite it on your machine.

Take note, that you do not overwrite the other/dbconfig.php and the other/phpcommand.php on your webspace.
Also you should not upload the install.php to your webspace.
So exclude this 3 files from uploading.

I don't have to do that. It updated automatically and I installed PHP SAM on my webserver, so everything is fine now

I'm not sure, but you can rename this file /jobs/update_rs.php to something else so the script doesn't run the update job.

We decided to make that function not able to deactivate. The mainly reason was to reduce the support requests. It is an open source project not a commercial tool, where people (staffs) got payed to give support. We earn no money for that, so we need to save much as possible time to be able to develop more features. We asking for your understanding for that.

With removing that function and staying on older versions, you will loose the support for the Ranksystem. If then any errors or bugs happens, we are not able to help you.

just do chmod -R 777 * in the root folder of the ranksystem

Something hasn't been configured as it should! Try to remove the groups and add the againSure, all is correct, i told you in my first message.
